Minimum Requirements for New Members

We encourage players of all classes to submit a Membership Application if they meet the following minimum requirements for new members:

  • Prospective members should have at least one character that is level 62 or above and be committed to leveling and advancing that character.
  • Prospective members should plan to play at least 3 times per week with us.
  • Prospective members should have all expansions enabled and a reliable internet connection.
  • Each prospective member MUST complete a separate application with ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED.
  • We currently do not have a set requirement for AA abilities, keys, or flags, however we do expect that potential members will be ready and willing to raid with us at our level of content. As a guideline, most of our members are level 65+ and have at least the basic AA abilities for their class. Most are keyed and/or flagged for Ssra Emp, Vex Thal, PoS/PoV, CoD, CoDb, HOH, BoT, BoT Towers, POI factory, PoNb, PoTactics, and have a minimum of two wins in every LDoN theme.

Minimum Requirements for Current Members

All members of Ascension Alliance are expected to uphold our Code of Honor and Code of Conduct.

It is also expected that all members will:

  • Attend scheduled meetings and events to the best of their ability.
  • Commit to leveling at least one character to Level 70.
  • Gain the appropriate alternate advancements for that character.
  • Work to obtain keys and flags necessary for guild progression.
  • Equip themselves with level-appropriate gear and spells.

Guild events shall be primarily organized toward helping our members meet these goals.

The minimum level is 29 for all guild characters including alternates.

The minimum level is 58 for all guild raids unless otherwise noted.

Inactive and Former Members

While individual schedules and playtimes may vary, we expect that all members will remain active and participate in guild activities on a regular basis. If circumstances prevent a member from regular participation for any length of time, he or she should notify the guild of this via the forums.

  • Inactive Members -
If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from being online or attending raids, it is your responsibility to communicate that by posting to Guild Discussion, Confidential Matters, emailing an officer, or speaking to an officer in game. As of January 1, 2005 we will no longer carry inactive toons on our guild roster or inactive players on our Raid Points log. A player will be considered inactive if s/he does not log in for 2 months, or misses 2 consecutive months of raiding.

This means that any toon who is not logged in for 2 consecutive months will be guild removed at that time, unless the player has notified leadership of other commitments. This is so that our Guild Roster will be an accurate reflection of our active membership. Members that are guild removed for inactivity are eligible to re-apply when they return, and alts that are guild removed for inactivity are eligible for invites when they are played.

This also means that any player who does not attend a raid for 2 consecutive months will lose any unspent raid points at that time, unless the player has notified leadership of other commitments. This is to prevent someone who rarely raids from being able to outbid someone with good regular attendance. A member that loses unspent raid points for inactivity is eligible to earn points on their next raid.

Therefore, if you cannot log in and attend a raid at least once every 2 months, you must communicate with an officer at least once every 2 months!  If we are aware of any extenuating circumstances we will be happy to keep your membership and your points account active until you return.
  • Inactive Officers -
Regular attendance and participation are especially important for the officers of the guild. Any officer that has not logged on or participated in guild activities for 30 consecutive days will be resigned from their position as officer. The Council will determine whether it is necessary to replace the Inactive officer at that time. Officers that are resigned for inactivity are eligible to re-apply as officers when openings are announced.
  • Inactive Trial Members
Any trial member that has not logged on or participated in guild activities for 14 consecutive days will be removed from the roster.
  • Former Members
Former members who wish to return to the guild are subject to the same application process and Trial membership period as new members. Returning members will have entry-level rank and seniority.

This document may be revised at any time by a majority decision of The Council.
